Please join us at our next monthly meeting on August 28th from 11:30 to 1:30 p.m. at Hereford House in Leawood. Meeting Cost: Members: $25.00, Non-Members: $30.00 RSVP online by 8:00 p.m. on Monday, August 25th by clicking here. Lunch: Choice of: bacon-wrapped petite tenderloin, oven-roasted salmon, chicken picatta. Baked potato. House salad. Topic: Beat the High Cost of Fuel and Reduce Your Carbon Footprint with Secure Remote Access
High fuel costs along with ecological concerns have raised the interest in telecommuting or working from home. It is becoming more commonplace for employers to offer “work from home” initiatives to help stem the effects of inflation for employees. But offering these alternatives introduces many security, support and performance considerations that are moot when everyone has to “drive to the office.” Attendees should come away with a better understanding of what some of those concerns are and how to mitigate them with proven solutions. |
